Confluence Books Hosts Robert Hays for Book Signing

Carbondale, IL: Confluence Books in Carbondale will play host to a book signing by local author Robert Hays on Sunday, January 26 at 2 P.M. Hays holds three degrees from SIU and worked as a professor of journalism at the University of Illinois for 30 years, but has been back in Southern Illinois since retirement. He is a U.S. Army veteran.

Robert Hays will read from his latest novels; all have passages related to Southern Illinois. Hays is the author of eight novels and a book of short stories and has written, edited, or collaborated on a half-dozen works of non-fiction. His short stories have appeared in anthologies and he has published numerous academic journal and popular periodical articles. Selections from three of his novels have gained Pushcart Prize nominations.

Books by Robert Hays are available on all major bookseller platforms and will be available at the book signing.
